Here is a painting in photoshop7 with a custom default basic round brush and a reference was used.
This is not a paintover. I have improved a whole lot. :)

Lol! I paintinted this before Christmas. I was saving for 2006. I have another one but I messed up on the proportions. I also started on of master cheif from Halo but I never finished it. I am gonna have to do more often. I have a w.i.p. gif image of how I painted it but it never loads up right on the internet.
I do have another face that I painted that does look nice like this one. I am using it for a CD cover that someone wanted. I will post it (the painting) soon.
As you can see, Cgtalk has helped me a lot :) lol.
